The evolution in watercraft protection has arrived. From CarPro® comes this incredible new method of protection for all marine vessels. Nautik is specially formulated to resist the harsh conditions of saltwater whilst offering resistance to UV damage, water spotting, algae, barnacles, fading, and more! In freshwater rivers and lakes, nothing resists algae and scumminess better than Nautik.
Nautik is best applied to new or near new boats. First we remove any dirt or surface contaminants leaving a fresh clean surface for us to work on. Surface preparation is really important when it comes to a successful application of ceramic protection and lasting effects.
Nautik is specially designed for gel coat surfaces where it becomes a solid barrier between the surface and its environment. Application is everything to ensure the ongoing performance and longevity of the Nautik ceramic coating. This requires careful attention to detail as we layer the coating onto the gel coat surface.
Once installed, your watercraft will become much easier to clean. No longer will you need to constantly abrade or polish the surface just to get it clean. In real world tests algae, scum lines, waterspots and more are easily removed from the surface with CarPro Elixir or HydroO2 aftercare products and a microfibre towel.

What areas do you do?
All accessible areas of gelcoat can be ceramic coated, and normally we do the cabin and hull down to the waterline. Within the Carpro range of protective products we also have options available to protect other areas around the boat as well. Talk to us about what is available and how you use your marine craft to work out what are the best options for ultimate protection.
Do I have to take the boat off the trailer?
Only if you really want us to ceramic coat the entire hull, which isn’t really necessary with trailer boats. Mostly we coat to just below the waterline where scumminess and waterspots are the biggest problem and we relax the winch a little and roll the boat back a foot or two to provide better access around the front. If your boat is going to sit in the water for long periods of time (weeks or even months) then you might consider wanting to coat underneath the hull. Talk to us about the options.
What size boats can you do?
There is no limit, but mostly we work on Jet Skis and 5 to 8 metre trailer boats. That said, provided that we can have clean access to the boat and that it is able to remain dry for curing we can apply ceramic protection to just about any sized boat. Talk to us of you have a larger marine project in mind.
My boat is older, can it still be protected?
Yes, but the preparation process is much more intensive as first we have to remove any oxidised gelcoat and then polish the remaining surface prior to applying the protective coating. Sometimes we may even need to sand the surface prior to polishing to achieve the best results and to restore a beautiful shine before locking this in with Nautik marine coating. It’s best to have a chat to our team for an assessment of your older (3+ years) marinecraft first prior to booking in.
